Logging

A real logbook, built for the field.

HAMORA is a logbook first. It works offline and in UTC, knows every DXCC entity, and keeps your data exportable on every plan.
  • Fast entry, with no signal needed

The frequency sets the band, UTC is recorded for you, and Save & next keeps a pile-up moving.

  • Your history as you type

Worked before, the same operator under another prefix, and a new DXCC, band or mode.

  • ADIF in and out, always free

Import with a preview that skips duplicates. Export everything, a filter or a selection.

  • Portable operations

POTA, SOTA and WWFF references, location and equipment, carried into every QSO.

All logging features

Your station

Your radio and WSJT-X fill in your log.

Connect HAMORA to Hamlib’s rigctld, and new QSOs follow your radio’s frequency and mode. Point WSJT-X at HAMORA, and completed FT8 and FT4 contacts are logged for you.

Read-only and listen-only: HAMORA never changes your radio, never keys the transmitter and never sends anything to WSJT-X.

How radio and WSJT-X work

APRS

See who’s around you.

Stations from APRS-IS on a dark street map with range rings and grid squares. Add HAMORA Bridge and Dire Wolf to see what your own radio hears, always labelled apart from the internet feed.
  • Messages, tracks, weather and telemetry

Advanced APRS is free: messages addressed to you, station tracks, weather and telemetry, all receive-only.

  • Clear about where data comes from

APRS-IS is “received over the internet, not by radio”. RF is “heard by your station”.

  • Receive-only

HAMORA never transmits on RF or APRS-IS: no beacons, messages or acknowledgements.

What to work next

Know what’s worth working, and why.

HAMORA Explore ranks live DX spots against your own log and current conditions. Every score is the sum of its reasons, so nothing is a black box.

Propagation figures are estimates from NOAA space-weather data, never guarantees. Awards show what’s worked and confirmed in HAMORA; award sponsors decide credit under their own rules.

HAMORA Intelligence Lifetime

What your own log says about your station.

Explainable insights from your own QSOs: your best DX window on each band, which antenna reaches farther on the same band, where your DX comes from. Each one shows its evidence, sample size and confidence, and stays hidden when the data isn’t strong enough.

No chatbot and no guesswork: every sentence comes from your own numbers. Analytics, the descriptive view of your log, is free.

Contest Companion

Contest logging in your pocket.

Serials that are never reused, dupe warnings, rates and a review before export, all offline. With Lifetime: provisional scores, multipliers and Cabrillo export for CQ WW, CQ WPX, ARRL International DX and the IARU HF Championship.

HAMORA Bridge In testing

Your whole station, on every phone in the house.

HAMORA Bridge runs on a Raspberry Pi, Mac or Linux computer next to your radio. It brings your radio, WSJT-X and APRS RF to every paired phone over your own network. Read-only, and free.

Privacy

Your logbook stays yours.

HAMORA keeps your log on your phone. Nothing leaves it unless you turn on a service that needs to send it somewhere.
  • On your phone

Your logbook lives on your device and works without an account or internet.

  • No ads or tracking

No advertising identifiers, no data brokers and no tracking across apps.

  • Diagnostics only if you opt in

Usage statistics and crash reports are off until you turn them on.

  • Export any time

Your whole logbook as ADIF, on any plan. Any logging program can open it.
