Your data
HAMORA Account Deletion
Effective date: 11 October 2026
Do you have an account?
HAMORA works without an account. If you never signed in to HAMORA Cloud, we hold no account data about you: your logbook is only on your phone, and deleting the app removes it. Your phone’s own backups (iCloud, or Android backup) follow your Apple or Google settings.
Delete it in the app
The quickest way. It takes effect at once and can’t be undone.
- Open HAMORA and go to More → Profile → Manage account. If the app is signed out, sign in first, the same way as before (email code, Apple or Google).
- Tap Delete HAMORA Account.
- Choose what happens to the logbook on this phone: Keep it here, or Erase it too. If you want a copy, export it first (More → Export ADIF).
- Tap Delete permanently.
Without the app
Email privacy@hamora.app with the subject “Delete my HAMORA account”, and tell us the email address of the account.
- We reply to confirm we’ve received your request.
- To check the account is yours, we send a one-time code to the account’s email address, and you reply with it. A callsign, QSO details or an email address on its own is never enough.
- Once it’s confirmed, we delete the account and everything listed below, and tell you when it’s done.
Until you’ve confirmed, we don’t say whether an account exists or share anything about it.
Signed in with Apple and hid your email? The quickest way is in the app. Otherwise, we send the code to your Apple relay address (it ends in privaterelay.appleid.com), which Apple forwards to you. If you can’t receive it, tell us, and we’ll ask for other evidence that the account is yours before deleting anything.
What is deleted
- Your HAMORA account: your email address and account id, and the link to Sign in with Apple or Google.
- Everything in HAMORA Cloud: your synced logbook (QSOs, operations, contests, station profiles with their coordinates, and equipment), confirmation records, notification history and push tokens.
- Callsign verification: your callsign claims, uploaded licence documents, LoTW challenges and details, your phones’ keys and your licence attestation. Licence documents are deleted first: if that fails, your account is kept and you can try again.
What is kept
| What | What happens |
|---|---|
| The logbook on your phones | Kept on this phone unless you chose “Erase it too”. Other phones keep their own copy and stop syncing |
| The callsign verification record | Each verification step (claim, review, decision, phone key, attestation) is kept with the callsign, so verification stays trustworthy. After deletion it no longer carries your account id |
| HAMORA Lifetime and purchase records | Lifetime belongs to your App Store or Google Play account and isn’t affected. RevenueCat (which manages purchases for us), Apple and Google keep their purchase records. For questions about them, contact privacy@hamora.app |
| Usage statistics and crash reports | Only if you turned them on. They aren’t linked to your account, and are deleted automatically after 2 months and 90 days |
| Your emails to us | As long as needed to handle your request and meet our legal obligations |
Data you sent to other services, such as LoTW, Club Log, QRZ.com, HamQTH or APRS-IS, is held by those services under their own policies. Ask them if you want it deleted.
