Portable operations

Parks on the Air (POTA), Summits on the Air (SOTA) and World Wide Flora and Fauna (WWFF) are programs for operating from parks and summits. Start a portable session, and every QSO carries the reference, your location and the equipment you're using.

  • POTA, SOTA and WWFF references
  • Field days and other portable sessions
  • Works with no signal

Activation progress

During a POTA activation, HAMORA counts your contacts towards the 10 the program asks for. The program decides whether an activation counts; HAMORA only shows your progress.

Opportunities while portable

While you're out, HAMORA keeps Explore out of the way and shows a single line with the number of useful opportunities.

New to this?

POTA, SOTA and WWFF:
Programs for operating from parks (POTA), summits (SOTA) and flora and fauna areas (WWFF). The operator out there is the “activator”.
Grid square:
A short code such as OJ03 for your location on the Maidenhead grid. Amateurs use it instead of exact addresses.
Portable guide

Start logging the way you operate.

HAMORA is coming to the App Store and Google Play. Logging will be free, with no account needed.
